The Cupcake Classic 2012

Virtual 5k Fun Run!
FREE to participate!

The Cupcake Classic is a fun run for women of all fitness levels. There are no awards, as fitness offers its own rewards! You can run, jog or walk. As sisters, moms, daughters, friends, we make choices every day to lead our families and communities towards a healthier life. The Cupcake Classic celebrates those daily efforts.  Gather up your friends, go for a run and then treat yourselves with a cupcake... because the FIT LIFE IS SO SO SWEET!

WHAT: A virtual race is running a specified distance, timing yourself, without actually being present in a race location. A 5k equals 3.1 miles.

WHEN: October 14 - 21, 2012

WHERE: Pick your favorite local route or jump on the treadmill.

WHY: Fun, Fitness, Friendship... and PRIZES!

HOW: Late registration? No problem... click HERE for the virtual race packet.

      I hate that I missed this! I ran 3 times since the 14th. UGH! I ran 5k Tuesday then Saturdday Oct. 20, 2012 in Commerce for the Tanger Fit for cure 8:30 am and Muck Run Carnesville Ga at 5:00pm. Yes two it one day. I wish I knew about this virtual race. Me and my sister will do it next time.

    I'm all signed up! So glad I voted on that shirt and so glad you added the runner girl to the cupcake!!! Love the long sleeve but live in hot Florida so I will get lots more use out of a short sleeve. Can't wait to get them! Thanks again!!

    Yeah! Glad you're brining this one back. It was my make up race after an ectopic pregnancy last year and will be a pregnancy run this year :) I'll definitely run for cupcakes!

    I'm in! Hope to be able to run the majority of it. I'm learning, very slowly, to run. I started in May on a c25k program that takes 12 weeks. I'm on week 6 day 1. I have asthma so, I have to take it slow. I was able to run on the treadmill for 23 mins last week, so I should be able to run the majority by October 14. Thank you for this goal!

    Just ordered a medal as an incentive to get back into running or to get into longer/more consistent walking. My exercise has been all over the place, and the results of that are apparent. :/ Thanks for the inspiration!

    Thank you so much for doing a second order of shirts! Can you tell me how they fit? Are they on the long side? I hate to order it and then never wear it! :)

      There is a size chart link above. I feel that they run pretty true to size. I wear a L which is normally what I wear in fitness gear. Feedback I've gotten on this style shirt is that the big run big and the small run small. LOL... hope that helps!
