I guess the thing to do this week is write a 2012 year-end review. All the cool kids are doing it. But honestly, I just don't have it in me. Make no mistake... 2012 has been an amazing year for me. It had many highs, plus its share of lows. I stretched my boundaries of possibilites. Incredible new friendships entered my life... and some disappeared. I set PR's in every distance I raced. I ran my first relay. My first triathlon. My first age group award and trophy. I bought a real road bike. I became a Spinning instructor. See what I mean... it's a tad bit overwhelming, but FABULOUS just the same!
Here's a look at Run With Jess 2012...
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life this year. You all touch me in different ways and make me a better person for it. Thanks for sharing my journey and being a part of Run With Jess!
What a neat video! Could 2012 have been any better? Looking forward to seeing you a bunch in 2013.
ReplyDeleteHave a great New Years!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I totally couldn't stop smiling while I watched your video! Fantastic job! Can't wait to hear what 2013 will bring you!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New year Jess!!!
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog by looking for blogs by other runners. I did my first spin class recently after two years of CrossFit...you know..the workout where everyone claims they're so hard-core and nobody is tougher. Holy moly! That spin class was soooo hard! Any advice as an instructor to a newbie?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading more of your blog and Happy New Year!
The beauty of Spin is that it can be SO hard, and yet so easy. Any instructor will tell you to take it at your own pace - especially in the beginning. If you need a break, take one at any time. Unlike running, in Spinning, you can slow down/rest/recover while your pal next to you still goes all out.
DeleteLooks like you had a great year! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWell done great 2012 hope my 2013 is as good as that. Keep running and ill keep reading.
ReplyDeleteGreat video!! Those pictures set to music always choke me up for some reason! Happy New Year!!
