It was fairly warm for January 1st in Illinois at a 37 degrees, but the 25 mph winds were just plain annoying. Luckily we ran the Rock Island Trail, where we had some tree cover. After yesterday's 11-miler, my legs (calves!) were a little sore. So I held my Resolution Run to an easy-paced 5K as a recovery run.
Resolution Run 5K
3.24 miles in 32:30
The sun completely whited out the Resolution Run bib... so here's a closeup!
I have the same "RESOLUTION" as always... slim it and trim it baby!
I really hope to reach my goal weight this year.
30 lbs to go!

I LOVE that you have so many people to run with, that is one of my goals this year: to train with people other than my husband or our moms. I need to start researching running groups near me!
Your post made me smile. You guys look cold in that pic!! I ran my Resolution Run alone this morning. I need to find myself some real live Sole Sisters.
