Watermelon!

Tonight is run night with my Sole Sisters.
It's hot and sunny... so this is how I'm preparing...
HYDRATE!



I love Watermelon!!
46 calories for a cup of diced cubes or balls.

THE GOOD STUFF...
Water-based, so very hydrating! 
Very low in saturated fat
No cholesterol
Very low in sodium
High in potassium
Very high in vitamin A
Very high in vitamin C
High in antioxidant lycopene

ANYTHING GOOD HAS A LITTLE BAD...
High in sugar

The scale is clearly tipped!

  1. Love the photos - I am not a fan of watermelon, but I buy it, cube it and freeze it. Then use it as ice in a protien smoothie! So good with vanilla protien powder, yogurt and blueberries.
